Courtney Holmes

Courtney Holmes was born in a small town called Smithfield, North Carolina a place that had taught her the love for community and the importance of family. When she was eleven years old, her step father joined the military and all the places they had lived taught her the meaning of diversity and has created many reasons why she values it. She strives to advocate for families, mental health, and love being the ultimate healer. Courtney’s love for reading and writing lead her into the journey of writing poetry and writing her first book Called “Contusions of The Heart” captivating love, heartbreak, and growth through it all. Courtney is a poet, a mother of 3 beautiful children, and a full time worker with the ambition to not change the world but love and cherish the people in it.
